Care4Caregivers

Care4Caregivers is a monthly letter of Christian encouragement to family members whose loved one is in long term care or nursing home care provide by the Pastoral Care department of The Community at Parkvue. Each month pastoral encouragement is offered based on Scripture along with a suggestion how you might respond to your loved one.

God’s command is to "Honor your father and your mother that your days may be long in the land which I have given you" (Exodus 20:12). When caring for loved ones, family members are often steeped with enough guilt, anxiety and frustration without feeling the burden placed on them by Scripture. Care4Caregivers uses Scripture to help validate the difficult job of providing for parents and loved ones in the midst of life’s pressures.

Care4Caregivers also includes The Link, a monthly newsletter for residents regarding the Chapel Life Activities at the Community at Parkvue.
